How is it more than halfway through October already?

In this round-up we’ve got a few must-do’s in Goa (because you’re probably headed there over Diwali), a lovely new addition to the app, and our first ever curated holiday for which we’ve been getting so much love! Read on.
If you’re heading to Goa for your Diwali break, here are some of our favourite spots that we can’t stop talking about.
EAT & DRINK
This riverside diner with kitschy aesthetics has some unmissable eclectic small plates on its extensive menu including dishes like red snapper tartare with avocado mousse or the Goa-inspired chorizo frittata.
Bringing a little bit of Spain to Goa, this is the newest restaurant in Panjim serving Spanish and Portuguese dishes. It is a beautiful tapas bar but the focus is on the homemade vermouth and amari.
An oldie but an absolute goodie. With a new prosecco cocktail menu and the usual smashing pizzas, Villa Nova in Arpora is a vibe – we absolutely love their Khapli wheat pizzas (as will most gluten sensitive folks). Make a visit.
EXPERIENCES
There’s a reason this is our most popular Urbanaut experience! Taste the most marvellous expressions of cashew, coconut and dukshiri Feni in a natural pool surrounded by a coconut plantation and with fish nibbling at your feet.
Explore the stunning waters of the Chapora river, along Goan backwaters lined with a soothing green belt of mangroves. This is perfect for beginners and families hoping to enjoy a quieter side of Goa.
This isn’t a normal ‘trek’ but a conventionally different one where you’re kept company by the powerful presence of the sea, the churning surf & the sound of the waves pounding the shore.
STAYS
Making for one part of Vaayu Visions’ family, every detail in this property is worth your time! Apart from the proximity to their surf school and a wonderful cafe, you’ll also get to meet their adorable furry friend Mowgli.
If dreamy, tropical villas are your thing, then Lua Cheia Villa is just the spot. They even help with day trips into the Western Ghats for a walk or to tour a local spice farm, visits to cultural and historical sites and boat rides to our beautiful beaches.
If you do happen to choose one of our recommendations or experiences, we’d love to see your pictures and hear all about it.
Oh and we have also added a new destination on our app and website!
Before you drop out of this email, have you checked out our thoughtfully curated, 3 day experiential holiday to Jodhpur for a small group?
Our boutique vacation includes staying at the stunning Daspan House; a day at Mharo Khet; and the wonderful company of Insia Lacewalla.
If this sounds interesting to you, we’d love to answer any more questions you’d have. If you’d like to book a spot (it’s an intimate experience, so we’ve got a maximum limit of 15 guests), please reach out to us.
We have some very fun things coming up before we say goodbye to 2022.
